International Securities Exchange Announces That Its Portfolio Of First Trust Advisors ETFs Now Exceeds $500 Million In Aggregate Assets Under Management
The International Securities Exchange (ISE) today announced that the First Trust Advisors portfolio of exchange traded funds (ETFs) based on ISE's proprietary indexes has reached over $500 million in aggregate assets under management. ISE's "pure play" indexes serve as benchmarks for the ETFs that target high growth sectors including natural gas, global wind energy, the emerging markets of China and India, global engineering and construction services and the water industry.&nb

CISX Becomes First Exchange To Provide OEIC Settlement With Euroclear UK & Ireland
The Market Authority of the Channel Islands Stock Exchange (CISX) is pleased to announce the availability of transaction settlement at Euroclear UK & Ireland for CISX-traded Open Ended Investment Companies (OEIC) with effect from 30 November 2009. The CISX has been trading OEIC since March 2005, and will now be able to offer listed issuers in UK-domiciled (including Guernsey and Jersey) OEIC transaction settlement at Euroclear UK & Ireland for transactions on or outside dealing days.

HKFE Announces Revised Margins For Futures Contracts
Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Friday, 2 October 2009, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contracts will be as outlined in the table below. MEFF Expands Its Futures Range With A New Contract On The IBEX 35 Div Impact Index - The Contract’s Main Feature Is That It Allows A Futures Contract On The IBEX 35 To Be Stripped Of Its Dividend Component, In This Way Providing Or Eliminating The Exposur
MEFF, the Spanish Futures and Options Market operated by Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) is to expand its product range with a new Futures contract based on the total amount of dividends in index points, paid by the companies that make up the IBEX 35 in a predetermined annual period.
