HKFE Announces Revised Margins For Futures Contracts
Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Monday, 2 August 2010, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contracts will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company’s normal procedures and standard margining methodology

Strong Market Demand Fuels Phase 3 Expansion Of Equinix’s SG2 International Business Exchange Data Centre - Equinix To Invest US $43 Million To Expand SG2 By 850 Cabinet Equivalents
Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), a provider of global data centre services, has announced that it will expand its second International Business Exchange (IBX) data centre in Singapore, SG2, as a result of an increasing demand for premium colocation and interconnection services in Singapore and South Asia. This third expansion phase within the SG2 IBX data centre will add 850 new cabinet equivalents when completed in mid-2011.

Turquoise Number One MTF Dark Pool For Second Month Running - July Dark Volumes Show Turquoise Extending Lead Ahead Of Competitors - Lit Pool Also Showing Steady Growth - Now 2nd Largest MTF For Majority Of Stocks Listed
Turquoise's pan-European mid-point book looks set to remain the largest MTF dark pool for the second month running, extending its lead over its nearest competitor during July as the number of active participants continued to grow. According to statistics from Thomson Reuters, it is the only dark MTF to have exceeded €4 billion of traded value in Stoxx600 constituents for the month to date, and is on track to beat its record performance in June despite lower overall market volumes during July

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) charged Robert Mihailovich, Sr., and Growth Capital Management, LLC, (GCM), both of Rockwall, Texas, with fraudulent solicitation in connection with the trading of commodity futures contracts and leveraged foreign currency (forex). Mihailovich, Sr., is a felon who was on supervised release while he was soliciting for and operating GCM.
