HKFE Announces Revised Margins For China Mobile Futures

Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Tuesday, 21 August 2012, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company’s normal procedures and standard margining methodology.

SIX Exchange Regulation Reaches Agreement With Allreal Holding Ltd

SIX Exchange Regulation has reached an agreement with Allreal Holding Ltd in connection with breaches of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in the 2011 annual financial statements. The identified errors relate to the recognition of profits, the presentation of advance payments as well as the presentation of the statement of comprehensive income. Under the agreement, the company pays CHF 25,000 to the IFRS Foundation.

As one of the most important investor returns, the cash dividend distribution of listed companies not only defines the stocks' values, but also ensures the sound operation of the capital market. The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) has formulated the ""Guidance for Cash Dividend Distribution of SSE-listed Companies (Draft Version)", with a view to implementing the requirements in the ""Notice of Further Implementing Relevant Issues of Listed Companies' Cash Dividend Distribution" [Zheng Jian Fa (2012) No. 37] released by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, guiding and standardizing the cash dividend distribution of listed companies, and boosting the sound growth of the securities market. The SSE hereby solicits opinions on the guidance from the public.
