    The total trading volume in the Moscow Exchange for the week equaled RUB8.5 trillion. Average daily trading volume amounted to RUB1,692 billion, up 13.9 % from the previous week. Trading in securities, RDRs and mutual funds units made up 2% (RUB172 billion) of the total trading volume, the fixed income market share was 4% (RUB355 billion), the derivatives market - 12% (RUB1,034 billion), the FX and money market – 82% (RUB6,896 billion) and the commodities market – 0% (RUB1 billion).

    United Nations General Assembly President Vuk Jeremic visited Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) today (Friday) and met with HKEx Chairman C K Chow, who briefed Mr Jeremic on the development of HKEx and its markets. They also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and the investment opportunities in Serbia for foreign investors.

  • NYSE Euronext Announces Trading Volumes For March 2013 And Other Metrics - European Derivatives ADV Up Nearly 9% Versus Prior Year - European, U.S. Cash Equities And U.S. Equity Options ADV Trail Prior Year

    NYSE Euronext (NYX) today announced trading volumes for its global derivatives and cash equities exchanges for March 2013  Global derivatives average daily volume (“ADV”) of 8.1 million contracts in March 2013 was in-line with March 2012, but decreased 7.8% from February 2013.   European derivatives products ADV in March 2013 of 4.3 million contracts increased 8.9% compared to March 2012, but decreased 2.8% from February 2013 levels. NYSE Liffe U.S. rebounded 62.7% versus the prior month.  Trading volumes in European and U.S. cash equities declined both year-over-year and month-over-month.
