Bursa Malaysia Conducts Mock Fire Rescue Drill
Bursa Malaysia would like to inform that it will be conducting a fire drill at its premises at approximately 12.30 p.m. (0430 GMT) on Wednesday, 16 May 2012. The objective of the exercise is to test the Exchange's emergency response and recovery procedures in the event of an actual fire during office hours. The exercise will be assisted by personnel from Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia, Polis Diraja Malaysia and St John Ambulance of Malaysia. The exercise will involve a mock rescue drill and the public is advised to kindly take note.

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Canadian Indices
Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:
The shareholders of Flint Energy Services Ltd. (TSX: FES) have accepted the $CDN25.00 cash per share offer from URS Corporation (NYSE: URS). Flint Energy Services will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite and Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX Equity and Capped Equity, the S&P/TSX Completion and Equity Completion, the S&P/TSX SmallCap and Equity SmallCap, the S&P/TSX Capped Energy and the S&P/TSX Composite Equal Weight Indices effective after the close of Thursday, May 17, 2012.

BM&FBOVESPA Starts Trading In Public Utilities ETF - The New ETF Is For Stocks In The Electricity, Water And Sewerage And Gas Sector
BM&FBOVESPA starts trading today in the UTIP ETF (UTIP11). This tracks the Public Utilities Index (UTIL) which measures the behavior of a portfolio composed of stocks in companies representing the public utilities sector (electricity, water and sewerage and gas). The UTIP ETF will have BlackRock as its manager.

European Parliament - Bank Capital Rules - 14 May Economic And Monetary Affairs Committee Vote

Bank Capital Rules: General Approach Agreed Ahead Of Talks With European Parliament
The Council today unanimously agreed a general approach on two proposals - the so called"CRD 4" package - amending the EU's rules on capital requirements for banks and investment firms, with a view to negotiations with the European Parliament.
