Shenzhen Stock Exchange Market Bulletin 2 December, 2013 - Issue 26

Last week, Shenzhen Component Index stood at 8542.6 points after gaining 1.5%. SME Index edged up 2.4% and stayed firm at 5121.6 points. ChiNext Index marched 5.5% to 1366.8 points. Total turnover for stocks and funds on SZSE was US$97.5 billion, or a 2.0% increase from the week before.

EPEX SPOT: Power Trading Results In November 2013 - French Intraday Displays Second Best Volume Ever

In November 2013, a total volume of 29.0 TWh was traded on EPEX SPOT’s Day-Ahead and Intraday markets (November 2012: 29.2 TWh). The French Intraday market displayed particularly good results. 317,089 MWh were traded on the French Intraday in November, which is the second best result ever.

IMF Releases Results From 2012 Coordinated Direct Investment Survey

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) today released preliminary results from its 2012 Coordinated Direct Investment Survey (CDIS), the Fund’s worldwide survey of bilateral direct investment positions.1 The survey has been conducted annually since 2009, with revised data released semiannually. The results, published as an online database, comprise preliminary direct investment positions data for end 2012 and revised data for 2009-2011. The 2012 survey includes data from 88 economies, two more than in the 2011 preliminary results. New CDIS participants are Burkina Faso and Tanzania. The IMF will also post revised and more comprehensive data in June 2014.
