- Aggregate ETF and ETC turnover value increased by 11.9% YoY to PLN 121.3 million
- Electricity turnover volume decreased by 16.5% YoY to 10.4 TWh

Monetary Authority Of Singapore Proposes To Simplify Requirements And Facilitate Access To Simple And Cost-Effective Insurance Products

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) today published a consultation paper to seek feedback on proposals to reduce the amount of information collected by financial institutions from their clients for selected insurance policies, when recommendations are made based on the Basic Financial Planning Guide (Guide). The proposals will enable consumers to meet their protection needs more easily through the purchase of simple and cost-effective insurance policies.

CFFEX: Notice On Issues Related To The Delivery Of Equity Index Futures And Options Contracts

Pursuant to the Trading Rules of China Financial Futures Exchange and relevant detailed implementation rules, the last trading day of a CSI 300 Index futures, SSE 50 Index futures, CSI 500 Index futures, CSI 300 Index options, CSI 1000 Index futures, CSI 1000 Index options, and SSE 50 Index options contract is the third Friday of the expiry month. Where the last trading day is a public holiday or trading of that contract is suspended on that day for extraordinary situations or other reasons, the last trading day shall be postponed to the following trading day. Accordingly, the last trading day of IF2402, IH2402, IC2402, IO2402(CSI 300 Index options contracts expiring in February 2024), IM2402,MO2402(CSI 1000 Index options contracts expiring in February 2024),and HO2402(SSE 50 Index options contracts expiring in February 2024) is February 19, 2024.

PNGX Group, operator of Papua New Guinea’s national stock exchange, is pleased to announce that it has received advice from the Internal Revenue Commission (“IRC”) that, having looked into the taxation treatment of the various PNG residents impacted by the establishment of depository interests (“PDIs”), the IRC is satisfied that the existing tax treatment of dividend income will not be altered significantly. Similarly, the treatment of stamp duty will not be altered significantly.
