The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) joins hands with three securities companies to kick off first series of roadshows this year in Asia, Europe and the United States during May-June, aiming to present the strengths and potential of Thai listed companies and economy, thus boosting confidence among foreign investors.  

London Silver Fix To Close

The London Silver Market Fixing Limited (the 'Company') announces that it will cease to administer the London Silver Fixing with effect from close of business on 14 August 2014. Until then, Deutsche Bank AG, HSBC Bank USA N.A. and The Bank of Nova Scotia will remain members of the Company and the Company will administer the London Silver Fixing and continue to liaise with the FCA and other stakeholders.

Moscow Exchange Monthly Market Report: April 2014

The total monthly trading volume on the Moscow Exchange’s markets in April was RUB 41.7 trln. The average daily trading volume was RUB 1.9 trln, down  18% MoM. Trading in securities, RDRs, and mutual fund units made up 2.3% (RUB 0.95 trln)of the total trading volume, the bond market’s share was 1.9% (RUB 0.8 trln), the derivatives market made up 4.3% (RUB 10.2trln), and the FX and money market accounted for a combined 85.5% (RUB 35.6 trln).

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced today that on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the CFTC’s Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) will hold a public meeting at the CFTC’s headquarters in Washington, DC. This meeting will focus on three issues related to 1) high-frequency trading, 2) the CFTC’s surveillance program, and 3) swap execution facilities.
