Today, Bloomberg unveiled its Electronic Trade Order Management Solution, or ETOMS, a managed service used by U.S. regional broker-dealers to access and engage fixed income electronic markets as both liquidity providers and liquidity takers.

EEX: First Trade In Swiss Power Futures Registered For Clearing

Yesterday, the first trading transaction in Swiss Power Futures was registered on the European Energy Exchange (EEX) for clearing via European Commodity Clearing (ECC). The trade for delivery in the third quarter of 2014, was concluded between EDF Trading Limited and Gunvor International B.V., Geneva Branch, and matched by the broker, GFI Securities Limited. The volume comprised 11,040 megawatt hours traded at a price of EUR 34.65 per MWh.

The UK Financial Conduct Authority Publishes Report Into Mortgage Lenders’ Arrears Management And Forbearance

In a review of lenders’ approaches to mortgage arrears management, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) found firms had improved practices, placing greater emphasis on the need to treat customers fairly, but identified areas on which the industry should now focus.
