  • Singapore Fixed Income Indices (SFI) Weekly - 12 May 2014

    Below are key highlights for the week ending 9 May 2014 (please click on the attachment for further detail):

    • The SFI gained 0.22% to 117.36.  The all-time high was 118.75 on 2 May 2013.
    • YTD, the STI currently outperforms the SFI by 0.66%.
    • Both SFI Government and SFI Corporate Bond Indices have made weekly gains for the past five consecutive weeks.
    • Both SFI Financial and SFI Industrial Bond Indices reached all-time highs on Thursday (126.90 and 126.39 respectively).
    • Since January (0.11% on 1 January 2014), the spread between yield-to-maturity for the SFI Financial and SFI Industrial Bond Indices have more than doubled to 0.24%.
    • The SFI 5-10 Year Bond Index reached its highest point in 2014 on Thursday, 8 May (105.37).

  • Tokyo Stock Exchange ETF/ETN Monthly Report For April 2014

    • The ETF/ETN market continued to be active in April 2014, with daily average trading value reaching about JPY 97.4 billion and monthly trading value of about JPY 2 trillion.
    • Among the top-ranking issues by trading value, Listed Index Fund 225 (1330) and Daiwa ETF-Nikkei 225 (1320) recorded increases in daily average trading value from March.
    • NEXT FUNDS JPX-Nikkei Index 400 Exchange Traded Fund (1591), ranked 19th overall, also saw gains in daily average trading value.

  • Malaysia's Audit Oversight Board Annual Report 2013: Oversight Focus On Internal Monitoring Systems

  • SGX Welcomes Genting Hong Kong To Mainboard

  • IIF Sees Favorable Prospects For GCC Countries

    Macroeconomic prospects remain favorable for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries the Institute of International Finance said in its latest forecast for the region. The IIF estimates the GCC will grow at 4.2 percent in 2014.
