On 18 November 2014, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) listed and admitted to trading on its Euro MTF market four bonds from China Construction Bank Asia, the Hong Kong subsidiary of China’s second largest bank and the fifth largest bank in the world by market capitalization.

Deutsche Börse Market Data + Services today announced that it will begin disseminating fixed income indices and bond pricing data from African countries starting on 24 November 2014. Concerto African Bond Indices are the first independent index family to measure pan-African local currency sovereign bond performance. The indices are calculated and maintained by Germany-based Concerto Financial Solutions.

Nigerian Stock Exchange Signs Capital Market Agreement With London Stock Exchange Group

Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) signed a capital markets agreement at the UKTI and the Emerging Capital event held at the Nigerian Stock Exchange. The objective of the agreement is to strengthen cooperation and promote mutual development between the two exchanges.  The agreement supports African companies seeking dual listings in London and Lagos.

Changes In The Exchange Council Of The Frankfurt Stock Exchange

The Exchange Council of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange elected a new Deputy Chairman in its meeting of 14 November 2014; Dr Matthias Zieschang, Executive Director of Controlling and Finance at Fraport AG, will be taking over from Dr Werner Brandt, who stepped down as of 30 June 2014. The Exchange Council also elected a new representative for the issuers voter group, Simone Menne, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Board member responsible for Aviation Services at Deutsche Lufthansa AG.
