DME, the Middle East’s premier international energy futures and commodities exchange, launched a new trading mechanism today, ‘Trade at Marker’ (TAM), for customers of the DME Oman crude oil futures contract.

Bloomberg L.P. yesterday announced that it has appointed 25-year marketing industry veteran Deirdre Bigley as Global Chief Marketing Officer. She will report to Bloomberg’s CEO and President Dan Doctoroff and oversee all marketing strategy for the company and its products globally. Bigley succeeds Maureen McGuire, who joined Bloomberg in 2009 as the company’s first Chief Marketing Officer. McGuire will continue working part-time at the company on special projects that focus on philanthropy, diversity and leadership.
