ACER Presents Its Conclusions Paper ‘Energy Regulation: A Bridge To 2025’

ACER, in cooperation with CEER, is pleased to invite institutional representatives, stakeholders and other interested parties to the presentation of its Conclusions Paper “Energy Regulation: A Bridge to 2025” to take place on 23 September at the CEER offices in Brussels. The event will also be broadcast live via webstream. The Paper contains European energy regulators’ considered conclusions on the challenges we expect the electricity and gas sectors to face over the coming decade and on the appropriate regulatory response within the framework of the Europe’s Internal Energy Market. Platts: Global Petrochemical Prices Rose 4% In July - Highest Level Since February 2013, Despite Falling Feedstock Prices

Prices in the $3-trillion-plus global petrochemicals market rose for a second consecutive month, up 4% in July to $1,446 per metric ton (/mt), following a 2% monthly advance in June, according to the just-released monthly Platts Global Petrochemical Index (PGPI). The PGPI is a benchmark basket of seven widely used petrochemicals and is published by Platts, a leading global energy, petrochemicals and metals information provider and a top source of benchmark price references. Prices declined in each of the four months prior to June.

Last week, Shenzhen Component Index stood at 7982.1 points after adding 1.2%. SME Index edged up 2.2% to 5106.5 points. ChiNext Index advanced 1.1% to 1392.5 points. Total turnover for stocks and funds on SZSE was US$131.5 billion, or a 7.5% increase from the week before.

TABB Group announced today that it has initiated an exclusive comprehensiveness global quarterly ranking of the 14 legal entity identifier (LEI) providers across the world’s financial centers based on data validity and size. For the second quarter of 2014, DTCC/SWIFT ranks first in the inaugural TABB Group ranking with a total comprehensiveness score of 94%.
