Increased Activity seen in REIT Index ETFs

• Trading value in the ETF/ETN market in September 2014 was about JPY 1.725 trillion, with daily average trading value reaching about JPY 86.2 billion.
• Listed Index Fund J-REIT (Tokyo Stock Exchange REIT Index) Bi-Monthly Dividend Payment Type (1345) saw trading value gains and ranked 17th overall.
• Trading in NEXT FUNDS TOPIX-17 ELECTRIC & PRECISION INSTRUMENTS ETF (1625) and other ETFs tracking electric sector also saw significant gains.

The Department of Justice announced today that it will not challenge a proposal by CyberPoint International LLC to offer a cyber intelligence data-sharing platform known as TruSTAR.   The TruSTAR platform allows members to share threat and incident data along with attack information and develop remediation solutions to help define more effective strategies across industries to prevent successful cyber attacks.
