KRX Implements Large-Scale Overseas Sales Activities For Its Derivative Products

The Korea Exchange (KRX) plans to launch the largest marketing campaign since the opening of its derivatives market in 1996 by visiting 50 core customers including institutional investors and investors associations located in 3 Asian financial hubs (11 visits in Sydney, 19 in Singapore and 20 in Hong Kong) for 13 business days from April 8 (Wed). -

KRX Will List The Offset Credit (KCU) In Emissions Trading Market

The Korea Exchange (KRX) and the Ministry of Environment announced that the gas emissions reduced by the entities other than corporations subject to the gas emission regulation were certified for the first time as the offset credit (Korea Credit Unit: KCU) and the KCUs will be listed on the Emissions Trading Market of the KRX to commence trading on April 6, 2015. -
SGX Sees Volume Growth In Both Securities And Derivatives Markets In March

Singapore Exchange (SGX) saw strong growth in trading volumes and market activities across securities and derivatives, and a 30% increase in bond listings. There were four more trading days in March 2015 compared with 18 days in February 2015 and 21 days in March 2014.

The outlook for China’s steel market over April remained at similar levels to March, underpinned by expectations of stronger construction activity during China’s warmer spring months, according to the latest Platts China Steel Sentiment Index (Platts CSSI), which showed a headline reading of 74.7 out of a possible 100 points.

Summary Of March 2015 Activities At TOCOM - March Volume Averaged 89,084 Contracts Per Day, Down 7.0% M-On-M

The Tokyo Commodity Exchange announced today that average daily trading volume for March 2015 was 89,084 contracts, down 7.0% from February 2015. On a year-on-year basis, it increased 11.2%. Crude Oil volume was up 1.7% to 12,395 contracts, but most other products decreased; Gasoline was down 34.2% to 7,627 contracts, Kerosene was down 24.9% to 1,712 contracts and there was a noticiable drop in agricultural product volume.

Announcement On Distribution Of The Amendements To The Gold Contract Specifications Of The Shanghai Futures Exchange And Risk Management Rules Of The Shanghai Futures Exchange

In oder to carry out relevant requirements for developing commodity futures market as raised in the Opinions of the State Council on Further Promoting the Healthy Development of Capital Market and the spirits rasied from national securities and futures regulatory meeting, better meet the market demands, satisfy the actual needs of physical ecomony and investors, and promote futures market’s function, the Exchange hereby makes amendments to the Gold Contract Specifications of the Shanghai Futures Exchange and the Risk Management Rules of the Shanghai Futures Exchange. The amended Gold Contract Specifications of the Shanghai Futures Exchange is approved by the China Securities Regulatory Committee. The amended Risk Management Rules of the Shanghai Futures Exchange is reviewed and adopted at the interim meeting of the 2nd Board of Directors of the Exchange and reported to the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
