ACER Invites Stakeholders To Provide Inputs For The Agency’s 2017 Work Programme

The EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators has kicked-off preparations for its Annual Work Programme 2017. On 5 November 2015 at 11.00 Alberto Pototschnig, Director of the Agency, will present the draft outline of the Work Programme 2017 at a workshop in Ljubljana. All interested parties will be invited to express their views and share their opinions on which areas the Agency should focus its efforts on in 2017. You can register for the workshop here.

Clarient Partners With FIA Tech To Offer Firms A Streamlined Service For OCR Reporting - Clarient’s Ownership And Control Reporting (OCR) Service Provides Firms With A Centralized Platform To Collect, Verify, Store, And Refresh OCR Information To Satisfy CFTC Requirements

Clarient, the industry-owned client data and documentation utility, and the FIA Technology Services, Inc. (FIA Tech), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Futures Industry Association, have partnered to introduce a streamlined solution to simplify the reporting process under new Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Ownership and Control Reporting (OCR) requirements. The Clarient OCR Service helps both buy-side and sell-side firms prepare for the new CFTC rule which is expected to go into effect April 27, 2016.

Rival Systems Signs Cardinal Capital Management For Rival Trader

Chicago-based Rival Systems (Rival), a trading software company established earlier this year, announced today that Cardinal Capital Management (Cardinal) has deployed the new Rival Trader front-end derivatives trading and risk management platform. Cardinal’s agricultural market making group is using the low latency platform for all of its trading activities.

On October 6th, 2015, the cumulative trading volume of JPX-Nikkei 400 futures exceeded 10 million contracts (preliminary estimates) since the contract was first listed on November 25, 2014.

TOCOM Starts Publishing Market Structure Analysis Online

In September, TOCOM started publishing market structure analysis with more detail on market structures and market data for each individual listed commodity. This analysis includes average price movement, average daily volume and end-of-month open interest, broken out by session, membership category and geographic origin of trades. It provides monthly data for trading from April 2014.
