Poetry Day Ireland was launched today by Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht Heather Humphreys TD at the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE). The Minister read Seamus Heaney’s poem ‘Midnight Anvil’ at a ceremonial opening of the day’s trading on the market floor of the ISE.

Hong Kong's Securities And Futures Commission Bans Benjamin Zhu Zhiwei For 18 months

Eurex KOSPI Product Achieves Major Volume Milestone - Total Volume Of 100 Million Eurex KOSPI Contracts Exceeded

By the end of April 2015, the Eurex KOSPI Product surpassed the level of 100 million traded contracts cumulative since launch in August 2010. It is part of the Eurex/KRX Link which has been developed by the international derivatives markets Eurex Exchange and Korea Exchange (KRX). Through this Link, both exchanges provide market participants worldwide with nearly 24h-trading and clearing access to KOSPI 200 Options.

IMC Becomes e-Specialist On NYSE Amex Options

NYSE Amex Options, part of the Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE) global network of exchanges and clearing houses, today announced that IMC Financial Markets (IMC) has become the newest e-Specialist on the exchange. IMC has been allocated 20 issues and will be subject to the heightened market making conditions and quoting requirements taken on by all Specialists and e-Specialists to improve liquidity and market quality on NYSE Amex Options.

Bucharest Stock Exchange Monthly Report - April_2015

April brought again the optimism among investors on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB). After a slightly decrease in March, BET, the main index, registered an increase of 6.66% in April, one of the best monthly evolution among indices of other CEE stock exchanges. Thus, the Romanian index evolution was better than the one registered by the main indexes from Poland (+4.9%), Austria (2.8%), Czech Republic (-0.5%) and Bulgaria (-1.6%).

The average daily turnover for the first four months of 2015 was $113,423 million, an increase of 68 per cent when compared with $67,607 million for the same period last year.

The average daily turnover for April 2015 reached a record single-month high of $200,097 million.

The average daily turnover of derivative warrants for the first four months of 2015 was $17,225 million, an increase of 145 per cent when compared with $7,043 million for the same period last year

The average daily turnover of ETFs for the first four months of 2015 was $10,311 million, an increase of 278 per cent when compared with $2,730 million for the same period last year.

On 27 April 2015, market capitalisation exceeded $31,000 billion for the first time and reached $31,207.7 billion.

Funds raised through IPOs for the first four months of 2014 was $55,255 million, an increase of 16 per cent when compared with $47,742 million for the same period last year.
