Cairo Amman Bank Flash Comment: 1-year T-Bill Drops At First Auction Following Rate Cut, CBJ Cuts CDs Amount

- Jordanian government bond yields continued to drop, as 1-year T-bill yields dropped to reach a low of 2.213%, down 124 basis points so far in 2015.
- The auction follows the CBJ’s decision to cut rates by 25 basis points effective July 9th, in view of the issuance of a $1.5 billion Eurobond, couple with weak GDP and credit growth.
- Meanwhile, coverage ratios for all government bonds remained high above 290%.

The db x-trackers II Harvest CSI China Sovereign Bond UCITS ETF (DR) gives investors first-time access to the performance of Chinese government bonds via a physically replicated ETF. The ETF was issued by Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management together with Harvest Global Investments and has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Tuesday.

Moscow Exchange To Close Classica Sector Of The Equity Market

Moscow Exchange will shut down trading on its Classica sector from 3 August 2015. Securities currently trading in the sector will be added to the MOEX Board system of indicative quotations with their tickers resided in Bloomberg and Reuters.
