Xetra/FWB: Subscription Starts For MBB Clean Energy AG Corporate Bond

MBB Clean Energy AG is planning a corporate bond in Deutsche Börse’s Entry Standard. The subscription period begins today and ends on 3 May, subject to early termination. The bond (ISIN DE000A1TM7P0) has a volume of up to €300 million, runs until 6 May 2019 and has an interest rate of 6.25 percent. Its nominal denomination is €1,000.

Trading is planned to commence on 6 May 2013. The applicant is Donner & Reuschel Aktiengesellschaft and the specialist SCHNIGGE Wertpapierhandelsbank AG.

“We are delighted that MBB Clean Energy has chosen the Entry Standard for corporate bonds and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The MBB bond will be the fifth corporate bond this year and the 31st overall in this segment. The Entry Standard continues to lead the market in the issue of corporate bonds on the stock exchange,” said Cord Gebhardt, Head of Primary Markets at Deutsche Börse.

According to own sources, MBB Clean Energy AG aims to become a leading producer of “clean energy” in Germany through acquiring and operating European and international energy projects. Plans for the next years include building up a facilities portfolio with a nominal capacity of approximately 1,500 megawatts (MW). The company aims to invest exclusively in existing wind and solar parks that are already connected to the grid.
