Warsaw Stock Exchange Says "The Warsaw Stock Exchange The Largest Bourse In The Region"

According to recent data of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE), in terms of domestic market capitalisation the Warsaw bourse is number one in the CEE region.

In the past years, Vienna's lead over Warsaw has been systematically shrinking in this respect.

According to the FESE statistics, at the end of July the WSE market capitalisation of domestic listed companies was 126.2 bln euro, whereas the respective figure for Vienna equalled to 117.3 bln euro.

The Warsaw bourse is thus already larger then Vienna in terms of the value of domestic listed companies by almost 9 bln euro.
