The WIG-media sub-index will complete the family of sector sub-indices, which comprises of following trades: banking, construction, IT, food and telecommunication.
The WIG-media sub-index will complete the family of sector sub-indices, which comprises of following trades: banking, construction, IT, food and telecommunication.
Following the methodology of sector sub-indices, a portfolio of WIG-media sub-index constitutes companies representing in the WIG index sector media. The size of the packet of each participant is equal the size of the packet in the WIG index. The base date of the new sub-sector index is December 31, 2004 and the base value is equal the close value of WIG index on that day and amounts to 26.636,19.
The WIG-media sub-index will consist of:
- AGORA (share 54,45%),
- TVN (share 28,49%),
- WSIP (share 7,19%),
- GRUPAONET (share 4,25%),
- ATMGRUPA (share 3,32 %),
- RMFFM (share 2,29%).
