VTL Joins NZX SciTech Index

New Zealand Exchange Limited (NZX) announces the inclusion of VTL Group Limited (NZX:VTL) to the NZX SciTech Index.

VTL Managing Director Mervyn Doolan said his company was delighted to be joining the NZX SciTech Index.

“We see significant opportunities for VTL in joining other successful New Zealand SciTech sector companies to showcase their expertise to the local and international investment communities.”

VTL is an international franchisor of successful vending businesses located throughout the Australasian, North American , UK and European regions.

VTL Group Limited's inclusion adds to the success of the recent NZX SciTech Seminars and positive Index performance. Since its launch in May 2006, the NZX SciTech Index is up 5.7%, compared to a fall of 4.8% in the wider market, as measured by the NZX 50 Index.

This index addition will be made at the Monthly Index Update, effective from the opening of trading on 1 September 2006.
