VTB has been named Best Bank for Trade Finance in Central and Eastern Europe in 2016 by leading industry publication Global Trade Review.
VTB expanded its business and offered advanced solutions to its clients in foreign trade operations in 2016 despite falling international trade volumes. By the end of 2016, VTB completed more than 400 deals with counterparties from Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America, and the CIS. Many of these projects were implemented in partnership with international financial institutions. Overall, VTB has partnered with over 100 international counterparties on various transactions.
