Today is the first trading day of VAS AG on the direct market plus of the Vienna Stock Exchange. As a full-range supplier of solid fuel-fired plants for sustainable heat and power generation, the company specialises in waste wood and alternative fuels in addition to classic biomass. The holding company is based in Wals, Salzburg. The company's shares can be traded once a day in an auction with price determination at 1:30 p.m. The Rosinger Group took over the function of Capital Market Coach. Trading started with the ringing of the traditional stock exchange bell.

The stock market debut is a milestone for the company and gives new room for further development and additional innovations in the important area of environmental technologies," say the two management board members of VAS AG, Norbert Thurner and Lukas Thurner.
Since 2019, the Vienna MTF has been addressing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and expanding start-ups with the direct market and direct market plus. This first step on the stock exchange creates a basis for companies to obtain further financing through equity and an efficient trading opportunity for SME investors. Around 100 direct network partners advise candidates on the stock exchange listing. There are currently 27 companies listed in the entry-level segments. In the direct market plus alone, there is a broad sector mix of companies in areas such as industrial, healthcare, real estate and technology & telecoms.
