The New York Stock Exchange, a subsidiary of NYSE Euronext (NYSE: NYX), today welcomed U.S. State Secretary Condoleezza Rice to the New York Stock Exchange, where she rang the opening bell.
“We are honored to welcome the U.S. State Secretary, Condoleezza Rice, to the New York Stock Exchange,” said NYSE Euronext CEO John A. Thain. “Secretary Rice has been a strong supporter of free trade and continues to promote open dialogue between nations, which is increasingly important for the growth of the global economy.”

Secretary Rice previously visited the New York Stock Exchange in 2002, as National Security Advisor.
