Update On SGX-Nymex Discussion

The Singapore Exchange (SGX) announced today its joint decision with the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) to discontinue discussion on the potential partnership to set up and operate an energy futures market in Singapore.

Notwithstanding this development, SGX remains interested and will continue to explore other opportunities to venture into the energy derivatives market to serve the needs of the trading and investment community in Asia.
