With reference to the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) Circular No. (31) of 2015 concerning Eid Al-Fitr holidays, and after consultation with the securities markets and the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX), the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) announced that local securities markets are to close for Eid Al-Fitr holidays on Thursday, Ramadan 29 (July 16) until Shawwal 3. Trading reopens on Shawwal 4 (July 21). The DGCX, however, is to determine when it closes and reopens according to public interest requirements.
