Two New UBS ETFs Launched On Xetra - ETFs Offer First-Time Access To Swiss Franc Bonds From Foreign Issuers

Two new exchange-traded bond index funds from the issuer UBS ETF SICAV have been tradable in Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment since Tuesday.

The two new UBS ETFs give investors domiciled outside Switzerland the opportunity for the first time in Europe to participate in the performance of Swiss franc bonds from foreign issuers. The bonds are issued by governments, supranational organisations and companies. Only investment grade bonds are included. The investor can choose between residual maturity ranges of 1-5 or 5-10 years. 

The product offering in Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment currently comprises a total of 1,000 exchange-listed index funds, making it the largest offering of all European stock exchanges. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of around €11 billion, makes Xetra Europe’s leading trading venue for ETFs.
