TSX Datalinx®, a division of TSX Inc., is pleased to announce that it will distribute Instinet’s Chi-X Canada™ ATS (alternative trading system) order and trade data. Connectivity to Chi-X Canada will be provided through LinxPointOne™, TSX Datalinx’s data distribution product, which leverages reliability and global distribution reach to provide real time market data to customers in Canada and internationally via one point of contact.

"We have had ongoing and frequent discussions with key industry players – including the providers of front end trading systems, smart routers, market data and back-office systems -- and will continue to collaborate with them as we aim to make the Q1 ’08 launch of Chi-X Canada as seamless as possible for the Canadian trading community."
The Chi-X Canada Market Data Feed will be distributed using standard TSX proprietary messaging formats. Data distributors and Canadian dealers will be able to utilize existing network connections with TSX to receive Chi-X Canada data in much the same way they already handle TSX market data.
