The trading volume of strong gluten wheat futures contracts on ZCE hit a new high at 1422200 contracts set on Sep. 6,2007, exceeding the last record of 747086 contracts set on Aug, 31, 2007. The open interest of futures contracts on ZCE hit a new high at 838202 contracts set on Sep. 6,2007, exceeding the last record of 774000 contracts set on Sep. 3, 2007.
