Tokyo Financial Exchange Inc. (TFX) announces that TFX and the Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT) have agreed that TT will establish connectivity to TFX market as ISV*1 and provide the trading software to Trading Members of TFX.
TT is one of the largest ISVs which has connected to the world’s premier exchanges and provided high-performance trading software for banks, securities firms, futures brokers, hedge funds and other trading institutions.
By this agreement, many investors who use TT’s trading software around the world are expected to participate in TFX market. TT plans to establish connectivity from its Tokyo data center to TFX in order to allow TT customers to choose between hosting their member gateways internally or outsourcing their connectivity to TT’s fully managed hosting solution.
The following contracts will be available for the trading platform developed by TT:- Three-month Euroyen futures
- Options on Three-month Euroyen futures
- Over-Night Call Rate futures - Spot-Next Repo Rate futures
TFX will continue to promote users’ connectivity to TFX actively and improve convenience for investors to make our exchange more globally competitive.
1ISV, which stands for Independent Software Vendor, means companies developing trading software, etc., and providing such technology to market participants. In addition to TT, the following 7 companies are currently connecting to TFX : GL Trade Japan KK, Patsystems Japan KK, RTS Realtime Systems Pty Ltd, GL Trade Overseas, ION Trading, Orc Software and Toshiba Solutions Corporations.
2 TFX is planning to introduce Remote Membership Scheme to allow overseas investors to access TFX market directly around the first quarter of fiscal year 2008.
