Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) launched this year's TSX Ignite live event series today in Toronto. Founded in 2014 in collaboration with key members of the Canadian start-up community including incubators and accelerators, this innovative program is designed to help support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

"The goal of the innovative and collaborative TSX Ignite program is to work alongside top industry advisors and executives to mentor burgeoning companies across Canada and help them establish a foundation for growth."
The Exchanges will visit five additional cities as part of the live event series, including Halifax, Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal and Vancouver. The events bring together leading business executives and advisors from across the country to share experiences and best practices with entrepreneurs from all sectors. Topics include keys to raising capital, how to deliver a great pitch, understanding unique funding options, and stories of growth and transition. Each event will feature a local success story to help inspire and coach attendees.
TSX Ignite also offers an online component to complement the live event content, which is accessible to all Canadian entrepreneurs. Online courses and other resources offer expertise from high-profile Canadian business leaders. Webinar topics include: attracting investors; why governance matters; best practices for financial controls and growth; and acquisitions for growth.
