The Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) has announced today that it will begin calculating and publishing a "Tokyo Stock Exchange Composite Index Series" from February 9, 2009. This series will introduce domestic classified stocks, foreign stocks with exclusive listings on the TSE, and domestic preferred subscription certificates into the index universe. Details on the indices are as follows.
