The Association for Real Estate Securitization (ARES) (Chairman: Hiromichi Iwasa, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd.) and the Tokyo Stock Exchange Group, Inc. (President & CEO: Atsushi Saito) announce that J-REIT Flash, a new service providing English investment information on J-REITs, was launched today to promote investment in J-REITs by foreign investors. The service is available on the Bloomberg Professional ®, an information service operated by Bloomberg L.P., under the Bloomberg ticker JRTF.
J-REIT Flash provides same-day English summaries of major Japanese language press releases of all listed J-REITs. The service was designed to meet the needs of foreign investors who seek a one-stop source providing investment information on all listed J-REITs in English on the same day of their announcement in Japanese.
A large amount of IR information for J-REITs is available in English through individual J-REITs’ English website and other sources. However, with no scheme established for providing foreign investors with comprehensive English information on J-REITs, there was the need to set up an information infrastructure that provides wider and timelier coverage to serve foreign investors. The service provided by J-REIT Flash transforms the J-REIT market into a more accessible market for global investors and promotes capital inflow, enabling expectations for further stimulation of the Japanese real estate investment market.
Overview of services provided by J-REIT Flash:
- Timely posting of English summaries of major disclosures in Japanese by all listed J-REITs, posted on the same day (in principle)
- Timely posting of information disclosed in English by J-REITs, including English press releases disclosed on their English websites
- Timely posting of updates on the English websites of J-REITs, as well as the English monthly ARES J-REIT Report
