Tokyo Stock Exchange: Change Of TOPIX Methodology For Designation Of Securities To Be Delisted

TSE will change the index methodology for designation of securities to be delisted for TOPIX and its sub-indices. Issues designated as Securities to be delisted will be excluded from TOPIX calculation as noted below.

1. Content of the change

(New method)
After close of trading on the third business day after the designation of securities to be delisted

(Current method)
After close of trading on the second business day after the designation of securities to be delisted

2. Implementation Date

The change will be effective for securities designated on and after August 24, 2009
