Tokyo Stock Exchange: Change In Base Prices On Sep. 24 Accompanying Phase III Of Tick Size Optimization Program

As previously notified, Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) will implement Phase III of Optimization of Increments of Bids and Offers from September 24 (Thu.) onward.

Phase III will apply to TOPIX100 constituents. If the closing price of a TOPIX100 constituent on September 18 (Fri.) falls between two Phase III price ticks, its base price for September 24 (Thu.) will be moved up to the next Phase III price tick.

The issues subject to this treatment are as follows.

TSE will announce its decision on arrowhead renewal on September 20 (Sun.).
