Tokyo Financial Exchange Trading Starts 15 Minutes Earlier On Statistics For Orders Received For Machinery Release Day

The Cabinet Office announced that it is scheduled to change the release time of monthly statistics for Orders Received for Machinery from 14:00 to 08:50(JST).

To provide TFX's members and customers with more opportunities of trading,TFX announced the temporary change of trading hours for all Interest Rate.Financial Futures Contracts (except for Exchange FX Margin Contracts) ,responding to the release of statistics for Orders Received for Machinery from January 15,2007.

Opening on that day
  • Pre-open 8:30am - 8:45am (Normal days 8:45am - 9:00am)
  • Open of morning session 8:45am (Normal days 9:00am)

Other trading hours are the same as usual.

Note:
The pre-open period and the morning session start 15 minutes earlier respectively on a day on which *important economic indices* are released.
(Important economic indices = Gross Domestic Product (preliminary), Consumer Price Index, Industrial Production Index (preliminary), Tankan survey,Orders Received for Machinery)
