Tokyo Financial Exchange: Trading Of Interest Rate Financial Futures Contracts Starts 15 Minutes Earlier On 30 January 2007

TFX announced the temporary change of trading hours for all Interest Rate Financial Futures Contracts on 30 January 2007, responding to the release of a preliminary report on Indices of Industrial Production at 8:50am.

Opening on that day

• Pre-open 8:30am - 8:45am (Normal days 8:45am - 9:00am)
• Open of morning session 8:45am (Normal days 9:00am)

Other trading hours are the same as usual.

Note:

• The pre-open period and the morning session start 15 minutes earlier respectively on a day on which*important economic indices* are released.
  (Important economic indices = Gross Domestic Product (preliminary), Consumer Price Index, Industrial Production Index (preliminary), Tankan survey, Orders Received for Machinery)
• TFX would like to inform to change trading hours for all Interest Rate Financial Futures Contracts constantly as follows:
