The quality of standard grade and deliverable grade for platinum has been modified from a "bar of minimum 99.9% purity" to a "bar of minimum 99.95% purity" starting with the August 2005 contract month.
Please be informed that the platinum warehouse reciepts for a "bar of minimum 99.9% purity" issued before this modification came into effect, will be valid for delivery until the August 2007 contract month.
