The serial number format of the following TOCOM Good Delivery Gold bar has been changed.
Commodity: Gold Kilo Bars
Producer: PAMP SA
Applicable contract months: The gold bar with said new serial number format applies to the delivery from August 2015 contract onward (except for the early delivery in August 2015).
The warehouse receipts with the old serial number format are also allowed to be used for the delivery.
Changes in the serial number format
The new serial number format is an alphabetical letter + six-digit number while the old serial number format is six-digit number only.
Example: <old> 123456 ⇒ <new> A123456

A + number in 6 digits
C + number in 6 digits
*There is no serial number starts with “B”.
This new serial number will carry on until reaching Z999999.
