The Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. announced today that Dubai Crude Oil futures volume for December 2015 was 503,119 contracts, which renewed an all-time high reached in September 2015 at 386,181 contracts. The annual volume for 2015 also hit the highest level since the launch in 2001 with 3,651,528 contracts.
In the meantime, the annual volume for all listed commodities for 2015 totaled 24,399,068contracts, up 11.6 percent from the previous year. Gold Daily futures contract was another product that made a significant contribution to the increase.
