TMX Group Limited today announced March 2016 trading statistics for its marketplaces – Toronto Stock Exchange, TSX Venture Exchange, TSX Alpha Exchange (Alpha), Montréal Exchange (MX) and NGX.
On March 14, 2016, MX reached a new daily volume record on S&P/TSX 60 Index Options (SXO) with 55,810 contracts traded
NGX set a new monthly overall power volume record in March 2016 of 26.1 terawatt-hours (TWh), which included a new monthly record for electricity volume with 15.8 TWh of Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) facilitated power.
