THEAM Further Strengthens Indexing And ETF Team With Two Additional Hires

THEAM, BNP Paribas Investment Partners’ indexing, model-driven and capital-protected investment specialist, has further strengthened its indexing and ETF team with the appointments of Lorraine Sereyjol-Garros and Déborah Tempesta.

Reporting directly to Head of Indexing and ETF, Lorraine Sereyjol-Garros joins THEAM as Marketing Director for French-speaking clients in France, Monaco, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Belgium.

Déborah Tempesta has been appointed Marketing & Communication Officer reporting to Bertrand Alfandari, Head of Marketing and Communication.

Biographies

Lorraine Sereyjol-Garros, aged 46, began her career as a financial analyst in 1993 at Banque Nationale de Paris in Bahrain.  In 1995, she was recruited by Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Markets as a fixed income and credit trader, before joining the Financial Department of Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne in 1999.  In 2001, she was appointed Deputy Director for Institutional Clients at Lazard Frères Gestion, a position she held for three years before joining GEA Multigestion as Marketing Director.  Between 2006 and 2009, she was Director of Institutional Clients for France and Switzerland at Lyxor Asset Management.  She subsequently became Institutional Client Manager for France and Benelux at Barclays in 2010 before recently joining THEAM.  Lorraine has a degree in Banking, Finance and Insurance from the University of Paris Dauphine and a degree in Actuarial science from the University of Pierre & Marie Curie.  She holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.

Déborah Tempesta, aged 36, began her career in the US in international marketing and trade in 2006, working for clothing sector and film production and distribution specialists.  In 2007, she returned to Paris and the financial industry after being hired by BNP Paribas Securities Services as Securities Account Manager on Euronext markets.  In 2011, she joined the Structured Finance division of BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking’s Export Finance department as commercial support for export loans in the Europe, Middle East, Asia and South America regions.  In 2013, Déborah joined BNP Paribas’ Cash Management department in French Retail Banking for the Enterprises segment, before taking up her new appointment with THEAM’s indexing and ETF unit.  Déborah has a Masters in International Commerce and a degree in European Affairs from IAE Lyon 3.
