The Spanish Exchange Trades 472 New Warrants Issued By Commerzbank And Santander Central Hispano - The Range Of Underlying Assets Covers, For The First Time, All IBEX 35® Constituents

The Spanish Exchange today began to trade 253 new warrants issued by Commerzbank and 219 by Santander Central Hispano.

Commezbank’s warrants were issued on Spanish shares, specifically on the following underlying assets: Abertis, Acciona, Acerinox, ACS, Altadis, Antena 3, Banco Sabadell, Banco Popular, Banesto, Bankinter, BBVA, BSCH, Cintra, Enagas, Endesa, Fadesa, FCC, Gamesa, Gas Natural, Telecinco, Ferrovial, Iberdrola, Iberia, Inditex, Indra, Mapfre, Metrovacesa, NH Hoteles, Prisa, Red Eléctrica, Repsol, Sacyr Vallehermoso, Sociedad General de Aguas de Barcelona, Sogecable, Telefónica and Unión Fenosa. It is worth mentioning the incorporation of new underlying assets from the following companies: Antena 3, Cintra, Enagas, Fadesa, Mapfre, NH Hoteles, Prisa, Red Eléctrica and Aguas de Barcelona. The range of underlying assets now covers all IBEX 35® constituents. Among the issues are call and put warrants. They are all American style and their expiry dates are in March, June and September 2007.

The 219 warrants issued by Banco Santander Central Hispano are linked to such underlying assets as Spanish and foreign shares and indices as well as exchange rates.

As to the warrants on domestic shares, 75 were issued on the following underlying assets: Abertis, Acerinox, ACS, Altadis, BBVA, Endesa, Gamesa, Gas Natural, Iberdrola, Inditex, Indra, Banco Popular, Repsol, SCH, Sogecable, Telefónica and Zeltia.

As regards the warrants on foreign shares, 115 were issued on the following underlying assets: ABN Amro, Adidas, Alcatel, Allianz, Apple, Axa, Bayer, Carrefour, Cisco System, Coca Cola, Daimler Chrysler, Danone, Dell, Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Telekom, ENI, EON, Fortis, France Telecom, Google, Infineon, ING, Intel, Microsoft, Nokia, Pfizer, Philips, SAP, Siemens and Total Fina.

As regards indices, 6 warrants were issued on the IBEX 35®, 3 on the DAX, 3 on the Dow Jones Industrial Average, 3 on the Nasdaq, 3 on the Nikkei and 3 on the Dow Jones Eurostoxx 50.

As to exchange rates, 4 warrants were issued on the Euro / Dollar exchange rate and 4 on the Euro / Yen.

Among the issues by Banco Santander Central Hispano are call and put warrants. They are all American style and their expiry dates are in September and December 2007.
