The Spanish Exchange Trades 340 New Warrants

The Spanish Exchange today began to trade 253 new warrants issued by Commerzbank and 87 by La Caixa. These issues bring the total number of warrants listed on the market so far this year to 1,282.

The warrants issued by Commerzbank are linked to a wide range of underlying assets, including foreign shares, national and international indices, exchange rates and commodities.

189 warrants were issued on the following foreign shares: ABN Amro, Alcatel-Lucent, Allianz, Alstom, Apple, Axa, Bayer, BNP Paribas, Cisco Systems, DaimlerChrysler, Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Telekom, E.ON, EADS, Ebay, Electricité de France, Endemol, Enel, Eni, Fiat, France Telecom, Google, IBM, ING, Intel, Microsoft, Nokia, Pfizer, Philips, Porsche, Sanofi-Aventis, Siemens, STMicroelectronics, Suez, Total, Vallourec, Veolia, Vinci, Vivendi and Yahoo. It is worth mentioning the incorporation, for the first time, of Alstom, Electricité de France, Endemol, STMicroelectronics, Suez, Vallourec, Veolia and Vinci.

As regards indices, 15 warrants were issued on the IBEX 35®, 4 on the Xetra Dax, 6 on the Dow Jones Eurostoxx50 and 9 on the Nikkei.

14 warrants were issued on the Euro / Dollar exchange rate, 11 on the Gold Ounce and 5 on the Silver Ounce.

Among the warrants issued by Commerzbank are CALL and PUT warrants, they are American style and their expiry dates are in March, June, September and December 2007.

As for the 87 warrants issued by La Caixa 49 are linked to the following Spanish shares: ACS, BBVA, Iberdrola, Inditex, Repsol, Sacyr Vallehermoso, SCH and Telefónica. The warrants on foreign shares are 6 on Alcatel-Lucent.

10 warrants were issued on the IBEX 35®, 12 on the Euro / Dollar exchange rate and 10 on the Euro / Pound sterling. All issues by La Caixa include CALL and PUT warrants, they are American style and their expiry date is September 2007.
