The Spanish Exchange Trades 156 New Warrants Issued By Commerzbank - More Than 2,000 Warrants Have Been Listed So Far This Year

The Spanish Exchange today began to trade 156 new warrants issued by Commerzbank. The new issues are linked to a wide range of underlying assets, including foreign shares and indices and exchange rates.

The incorporation of these new issues brings the total number of warrants traded to 2,261.

As to the warrants issued on foreign shares, 113 are linked to the following underlying assets: Alcatel, BNP Paribas, Cisco, Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Telekom, E.ON, Ebay, Enel, ENI, France Telecom, Google, Microsoft, Nokia, Pfizer, Porsche, Sanofi-Aventis, Total, Volkswagen and Yahoo.

As regards international indices, 10 warrants were issued on the DAX, 13 on the Nasdaq index and 12 on the Nikkei.

As to exchange rates, 8 warrants were issued on the Euro / Dollar exchange rate.

Among the issues are call and put warrants and their expiry dates are in September and December 2006. They are all American style, that is, they are exercised automatically on the expiry date.
