On an YTD basis TASI lost 14.50% (1,208.50 points). Highest close level for the index during the month was 7,827.08 on 11/10/2015.
Total equity market capitalization at the end of October 2015 reached SAR 1,628.97 billion (US$ 434.39 billion), decreasing by (2.28%) over the close of the previous month.
The total value of shares traded for the month of October 2015 reached SAR 102.43 billion (US$ 27.31 billion), increasing by 28.99% over the previous month.
The total number of shares traded* reached 4.59 billion shares during the month of October 2015 compared to 3.58 billion shares traded for the previous month, an increase of 28.51%.
The total number of transactions executed during October 2015 reached 2.04 million compared to 1.64 million trades for the month of September 2015, an increase of 24.48% .
