At the end of the 1st Nine Months 2015 Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed at 7,404.14 points, decreased by 3,450.65 points (31.79%) over the close of the same period of the previous year.
On an YTD basis TASI lost 11.15% (929.16 points). Highest close level for the index during the period was 9,834.49 as on 30/04/2015.
Total equity market capitalization at the end of the 1st Nine Months 2015 reached SAR 1,667.04 billion (US$ 444.54 billion), decreasing by (24.68%) over the end of the 1st Nine Months of the previous year.
The total value of shares traded for the 1st Nine Months 2015 reached SAR 1,323.85 billion (US$ 353.02 billion), decreasing by (20.05%) over the same period of the previous year.
The total number of shares traded* reached 49.99 billion shares during the 1st Nine Months 2015 compared to 54.03 billion shares traded during the 1st Nine Months of the previous year, a decrease of (7.47%).
The total number of transactions executed during the 1st Nine Months 2015 reached 23.58 million compared to 27.22 million trades during the 1st Nine Months of the previous year, a decrease of (13.38%).
