At the end of the 1st Half 2015 Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed at a level of 9,086.89 decreased 426.13 points 4.48% over the close of the same period of the previous year.
On a YTD basis TASI registered a positive increase of 9.04 % (753.59 points). The highest close level for the index during the period was 9,834.49 on 30/04/2015.
Total equity market capitalization at the end of the 1st half 2015 reached SAR 2,013.46 billion (US$ 536.92 billion), increasing by (3.51%) over the end of the 1st half of the previous year.
The total value of shares traded for the 1st half 2015 reached SAR 1,043.75 billion (US$ 278.33 billion), decreasing by (7.08%) over the same period of the previous year.
The total number of shares traded* reached 38,783.72 billion shares during the 1st half 2015 compared to 38,433.90 billion shares traded during the 1st half of the previous year, an increase of (0.91%).
The total number of transactions executed during the 1st half 2015 reached 17.85 million compared to 18.51 million trades during the 1st half of the previous year, a decrease of (3.55%).
