At the end of the 1st Nine Months 2016 Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed at 5,623.34 points, decreased by 1,780.80 points (24.05%) over the close of the same period of the previous year.
Highest close level for the index during the period was 6,952.22 point on 03/01/2016.
Total equity market capitalization at the end of 1st Nine Months 2016 reached SAR 1,325.37 billion (US$ 353.43 billion), decreasing by (20.50%) over the end of the 1st Nine Months of the previous year .
The total value of shares traded for the 1st Nine Months 2016 reached SAR 857.36 billion (US$ 228.63 billion), decreasing by (35.24%) over the same period of the previous year .
The total number of shares traded* reached 48.63 billion shares during the 1st Nine Months 2016 compared to 50.28 billion shares traded during the 1st Nine Months of the previous year, a decrease of (3.28%).
The total number of transactions executed during the 1st Nine Months 2016 reached 20.14 million compared to 23.58 million trades during the 1st Nine Months of the previous year, a decrease of (14.57%).
